A JOHN Lennon fanatic from Worle has made it onto a tribute CD and DVD to the legendary singer - and to celebrate he decided to have his ninth Beatles tattoo.David Lennon, aged 55, now proudly sports the name of the legendary band across the back of his neck and insists this will be his last tattoo.The father-of-three, of Harrier Path, is already plastered in images, names and song lyrics associated with the fab four and his house is like a Beatles museum with instruments, costumes and memorabilia filling the rooms.He has now been officially recognised as one of John Lennon's biggest fans after he was chosen to be one of 20 appearing on a tribute to the music legend's legacy.Fans from across the country travelled to the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art near Newcastle last month to audition for the CD and DVD, which shows fans singing John Lennon's greatest songs.Mr Lennon said: "It's fantastic. I'm over the moon. I was nervous and I told them I couldn't sing but they said it was alright. I celebrated by getting another tattoo, but I think it'll be my last. I said that last time though."Mr Lennon changed his name from David Presley to David John Paul George Ringo Lennon 20 years ago.Although he loves the Beatles, John Lennon is his favourite and he wears round specs just like his hero.The tribute CD and DVD can be viewed at the Baltic Centre in Gateshead from October 10 until February next year.Mr Lennon is already planning a trip up there. Similar exhibits have already been made for music heroes like Bob Marley, Madonna and Michael Jackson.
