A charity golf tournament will tee off in June

A WESTON buisness is organising a charity golf tournament next month.

Fuel company BWOC, based in Oldmixon Crescent, is urging businesses in the area to enter a team for the event.

This is the 12th year the successful tournament has been held and this is the first time BWOC has been asked to host it.

Proceeds from the event will be handed out to Weston Hospicecare and other local worthwhile causes.

The golfing day will take place at Weston Golf Club on June 29, and tee times will run from 9am-2pm.

The cost of entering a team is £140 which includes a green fee, rolling buffet, 10th hole refreshments and the chance of winning an array of prizes.

There will be various competitions throughout the day, including longest drives and BWOC is inviting companies to sponsor these contests.

Business owners are also being asked to sponsor individual holes, and their companies will be advertised at the club and in the programme.

For more details ring Vivienne Thompson on 01934 417576.
