Teen, 18, dies after crash

A TEENAGER has died after sustaining injuries when his car collided with a garden wall.

The 18-year-old was taken to Southmead Hospital after the incident in Wedmore at 5.30am on Sunday.

He was driving a Ford Focus along Pilcorn Street when it left the carriageway and collided with the wall.

He died of his injuries today (Tuesday).

Police are appealing for anyone who saw the vehicle or the collision to come forward.
