A SURVEY of teenage drivers revealed that 70 out of 600 had been involved in a crash while driving a car or travelling as a passenger.

Questionnaires were filled in by Somerset youngsters last month after the Show You Care campaign was launched by the county's road safety partnership.

Students who took part in the survey were entered into a draw to win free Pass Plus courses, an advanced driving session that can be taken after learners have passed their tests.
