Teenager rushed to hospital after A370 crash

A 15-year-old girl was airlifted to hospital this morning (Wednesday) after serious collision on the A370.

The police have launched an appeal for witnesses after the crash on the A370 resulted in a teenager being seriously injured.

Emergency services were call to the A370 near East Brent this morning at 7.45am.

The girl was taken to hospital by air ambulance and is currently being treated for serious injuries.

A police spokesman said: “We would like to speak to anyone who might have seen the incident.

“If you have any information, please call 101 and quote log number 163 and today’s date.”

The accident resulted in the main commuter route being closed in both directions, causing standstill traffic from the East Brent roundabout through to Lympsham and Bleadon.
