A TEENAGER from Wedmore was presented with a £50 voucher after winning a photography competition.

Ben Walker, aged 13, submitted a picture of a bumblebee on a dandelion as part of Sanders Garden World’s spring gardening celebration. The Brent Knoll centre displayed images of contestant’s favourite scenes and crowned Ben the overall winner.

The Hugh Sexey Middle School pupil said: “I am really pleased to have won the competition and it was a great surprise. I enjoy taking photos in my spare time and I used my grandmother’s camera to take my winning photo.”
