04.09.07 A TEENAGER has pleaded not guilty to masturbating in front of two 11-year-old boys in the grounds of a Weston school, a court has heard.
Colin Mallinson, aged 19, of Parkhurst Road, Weston, denied the charge of engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child under the age of 13 today at North Somerset Courthouse in St Georges.
Chairman of the bench, David Dennis, said the offence will be committed for trial at crown court and the case was adjourned until October.
Mallinson, who spoke to confirm his name, date of birth and address, was released on unconditional bail and warned not to approach either of the two boys involved.
The defendant appeared in court dressed in black trousers and a blue long-sleeved tracksuit top with white stripes.
