Teens arrested after stabbing

A MAN was stabbed and two teenagers arrested after a disturbance involving several people in Weston.

The incident occurred in Neva Road at around 7.40pm yesterday (Weds).

A 23-year-old man was taken to hospital in Bristol with stab injuries.

A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Constabulary said the injuries were not life-threatening and he is no longer in hospital.

An 18-year-old and 17-year-old have been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and are in custody.

Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information should contact Detective Constable Andy Eastwood on the non-emergency number 101 and quote reference 88567/14.
