A group which helps to raise money for a Weston theatre presented its first pantomime at the weekend.

The Friends Of The Playhouse group raises money for The Playhouse theatre.

This year, it chose to hold a pantomime, which was enjoyed by 150 members and their families, to collect funds.

The show was called A Story Of All Time, and both the fundraisers and Playhouse staff got involved in the show.

Dave Kingsbury, who is a member of the group, said: “A big thank you to Wendy Summers who wrote and produced the show.

“Thanks also to everyone who assisted in the production from the technical help of the Playhouse staff and all those who helped with props and costumes.”

The Friends Of The Playhouse has 475 members, and it hosts a coffee morning at the theatre on Saturdays at 10am.
