Thieves break Weston car dealership window to steal tools worth thousands of pounds

Thousands of pounds worth of tools have been stolen from a car dealership in Weston-super-Mare.

Staff arrived at the CCR Renault Mitsubishi dealership in Aisecome Way this morning (Monday) to discover a broken window and much of their equipment missing.

Thieves are believed to have broken in between Sunday at 4pm and 8am today by smashing a window.

They made off with tools including spanners, wrenches and screwdrivers, altogether worth around £15,000.

Crime scene investigators have examined the scene.

Alistair Farndon, a CCR technician, said the firm is appealing for people to get in touch if they have any information, or if they see tools which may belong to the dealership up for sale.
