A seven-year-old boy from Weston-super-Mare has raised money for Weston Hospicecare by organising a raffle in memory of his grandfather.

Theo Berry decided to raise money for the charity after it cared for granddad Tony Inganni. He was inspired to support the hospice after his grandmother, Susan Inganni, held a charity barbecue at her home last summer.

Theo then sold raffle tickets to his family during the Christmas holidays and managed to raise £50.

A charity spokesman said: “It’s amazing Theo has chosen to support us – we are so moved by the fact that, at Christmas time, this young man chose to think of others instead.”
