TREASURE ranging from jewellery to a clay pigeon shooting voucher was sold in a special event in Axbridge.

Lolly from the Loft, a spoof of television favourite Cash in the Attic, was held in the town hall on Saturday to raise cash for St John the Baptist Church.

Auction items varied from valued antique collectables to more modern treasures such as a photographer's tripod and a box of organic vegetables.

About £850 was raised for the church, which will go towards replacing the internal oak doors with new glass ones.

On Sunday night the group handed over a cheque for £1,500 and hope the doors will be installed during the summer.
