THIEVES who stole a mobility scooter in Worle have been arrested.
The incident happened at about 4.50am on Monday in Blackthorn Gardens. The two men were reportedly seen stealing the scooter from a garage.
The offenders, one aged 20, the other aged 21, were arrested shortly afterwards on suspicion of theft. They have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
Residents in the area have been warned to ensure sheds, garages, outhouses and stored vehicles, such as bicycles and motorbikes, are properly secured.
The mobility scooter has now been returned to the owner.
