THIEVES tried to smash their way into a Highbridge supermarket using a stolen Range Rover.
Police are appealing for information after the attempted burglary at Somerfield in Southwell Crecent, which took place at 2.30am on December 28.
The thieves tried to ram their way into the store using the vehicle which had been stolen from Cheltenham earlier that day.
They did not managed to enter the store but the attempted raid caused damage to the front of the store. Anyone with any information is asked to call police on 0845 456 7000 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
