Thousands raised at beer festival

A BEER festival that took place at Redcliffe Bay Hall in Portishead helped raise thousands of pounds for Children's Hospice South West.

A BEER festival that took place at Redcliffe Bay Hall in Portishead helped raise thousands of pounds for Children's Hospice South West.

The popular two-day annual event was a complete sell out and included a disco on the Friday evening with a concentrated effort on beer tasting on the Saturday.

Festival organiser Neil Ravenscroft said: "We were delighted with our total of £4300 raised this year.

"We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our sponsors and everyone who supported the event in any way.
