MORE than 400 people raced in glorious sunshine at the Wrington Fun Run on Sunday.

The event was held on a course that ran through the village, and was won by 15-year-old Jack Capon, from Wrington, with a time of 18 minutes and 32 seconds.

Runners and villagers enjoyed a spot of refreshment at an event after the run, which was organised by the Wrington Primary School Parents and Teachers Association and raised £2,000 for the school.
