A CAR crash, which left both vehicles on fire this evening, has led to three people suffering injuries.
The accident, at about 6.35pm today (Friday), saw the fire brigade, the ambulance service and police all called.
The crash occurred in Mudgley Road in Wedmore.
A spokesman for Devon and Fire and Rescue Service said: “Two vehicles were well alight with the highway completely blocked in both directions.
“Crews got to work using two breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet.
“There were three casualties at scene suffering injuries, fire crews carried out casualty care until the ambulance and police both got in attendance.”
The severity of the injuries has not been disclosed at this stage.
