Three men arrested in stolen property crackdown

A 51-YEAR-OLD man from Weston has been arrested after police found drugs and suspected stolen property at his home.

Officers found cannabis and several mobile phones and cameras, which they suspect were stolen, at the man’s home in Coleridge Road yesterday (Thurs).

In a separate incident, two men aged 23 and 38 were arrested after officers were called to a burglary in St Peter’s Avenue.

One man was found near the scene while the other was arrested in Shrubbery Road.

Officers recovered suspected stolen property including a mountain bike and alcohol.

The three men are the latest to be arrested in Avon and Somerset Constabulary’s Operation Relentless, which focuses on ‘acquisitive crime’ such as burglary, robbery and car crime.

A total of 326 arrests have been made across the force area since the operation began on September 11.
