PATIENTS with chronic lung disease can rest assured they are getting a good service.

Somerset's Community Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease Service scooped a national award for 'best improved service for patients' from the National Association of Primary Care.

At the Practice Based Commissioning Vision Awards 2009, held in Birmingham, the Somerset service won an award and also a commendation for the 'best service re-design' category.
