In a two part series 'Eye of the Gorgon' , Cheryl plays an alien nun flitting around an imposing abbey, opening the door to intrepid reporter Sarah Jane, played by Elisabeth Sladen and trapping her and her teenage assistants inside. Cheryl, who is a regular on the BBC Casualty set, said: "It was great to work with such accomplished actors and actresses."I remember watching Elisabeth as Sarah Jane Smith as a child, appearing in Dr Who in the seventies with both Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker. Although I wanted to be an actress even then, I didn't imagine I would be working with her some 30 years on." Despite her growing acting career, Cheryl remains dedicated to the School of Drama for children aged from three to 16 years of age.
