A CHEQUE for £2,000 was handed over to Wallace and Gromit's Grand Appeal.

The money was raised by Mark Burland and his friends and colleagues, who took part in the Snowdonia Marathon, which was chosen because it was the toughest one they could think of.

The Grand Appeal helps ill children across the South West.
