The winner of the 2018 Tour de France will cycle through Somerset next month.
Geraint Thomas will ride for Team Sky in the Tour of Britain which begins on September 2.
He will be joined by four-time Tour de France winner Chris Froome.
Stage three of the tour, which will take place on September 4, will see cyclists head to Bristol before riding a 17km route to Yatton.
From there they will head through Congresbury and Langford before climbing Cuck Hill, passing through Axbridge and Cheddar, and then returning to Bristol.
Speaking about the tour, Thomas said: “As soon as I’d finished the Tour de France I knew I wanted to ride the Tour of Britain and race on home roads.
“It starts in Wales, which will be special, and then I get to go and race across the whole of the UK.
“I can’t wait.”
Chris Froome’s previous tour appearances were in 2007 and 2009, and he has only raced once in the UK since the London Olympics in 2012.
He said: “I always remember there being a great atmosphere at the Tour of Britain and the race has only got bigger over the years.
“I am really looking forward to coming back.”
A host of other top road cyclists will also compete, including Olympic champion Mark Cavendish who will ride for Team Dimension Data.
The eigth and final stage of the tour will take place on September 9.
It is the first time the tour has included North Somerset since 2016.
It will be broadcast on Itv4 and Eurosport.
