WESTON'S mayor has suffered a mild stroke.Councillor John Ley-Morgan (pictured right) has been forced to cancel his engagements for the near future and is now recuperating at home.He became ill on July 3 and was admitted to hospital the following day. He was discharged on July 5 but will now take an unknown period of time off to recover.While Cllr Ley-Morgan recuperates, deputy mayor Cllr Andrew Horler will take over his duties.A town council statement released this week said: "The town mayor would like to thank everyone for their good wishes and expressions of concern.
