Hundreds of people descended on Weston to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Royal Air Force (RAF) over the Easter weekend.
Service personnel who served at RAF Locking held a party at Weston Football Club to catch up with old friends and reminisce.
The event was organised by Dale Egleton through the Facebook group for Trade Group Three personnel who served at RAF Locking.
Dale Thiedeman, who attended, said: It was absolutely fantastic. People flew in from all over the world.
“Some of us hadn’t seen each other for nearly 40 years. We are trying to make it an annual event.”
A parade and church service was also held in Weston on Saturday, followed by a barbecue at the RAFA Club.
The next event is an RAF Locking Reunion and token fair on April 14 on the Beach Lawns from 10am-7pm, which will include music from the RAFA Band.
