Traffic slow after crash outside supermarket

TRAFFIC is slow along a main road in Weston after an elderly driver crashed his car at the entrance to a supermarket car park.

Police, fire and ambulance services were called to the incident at the car park of Farmfoods in Locking Road just after 9am.

They attended an elderly driver of a Nissan vehicle who hit a wall while entering the supermarket car park.

Fire crews cleaned up petrol on the road, while the man was taken to Weston General Hospital with a minor leg injury.
