TWO trainee beauticians at Weston College are encouraging other students to join their course.

Louise Hill and Martha Woodland are both working toward a level two apprenticeship in beauty therapy at the Beauty Oasis Day Spa in Locking Road.

Martha, a former Wyvern Community School pupil, said: "The best thing about studying an apprenticeship is the confidence you gain from working with clients in the workplace whilst studying a formal qualification."

Louise, a former Priory Community School pupil, said: "Working with clients at the same time as you are being trained is the best aspect of studying an apprenticeship because it really helps boost your confidence.

"You get thrown into work straight away which is a great way to gain skills and experience."

Interested students can discuss the course at the Knightstone Campus in Knightstone Road this Monday to Friday.
