Weston’s Tropicana will be home to skateboards and scooters for half-term, as Transend Skatepark returns for its third stint at the former lido.
The Trop, in Marine Parade, will be filled with ramps and rails from Monday to November 2, giving youngsters the chance to show off their tricks on two and four wheels.
The event is organised by church-going skaters from across the town, with the hopes of eventually opening an indoor skate warehouse and Transend hopes to nurture Weston’s youngsters’ passions for skateboarding by hosting a series of pop-up events.
The week is broken up into dedicated slots for different age groups, and sessions cost £3-4.
There will also be a range of craft activities each day, which include collage canvasses, mosaics and frame decorating.
Transcend will be indoors, while the Icescape attraction takes up the former pool area.
