There are travel delays coming in to Weston-super-Mare this morning (Wednesday) after a car crashed into a bush and span into the middle of a busy road.

Avon and Somerset police were called at 8.34am to a collision in Wolvershill Road, in Banwell, close to the motorway bridge running above the M5.

A police spokesman said the car is partially blocking part of the road, and officers are on the scene working to clear the incident.

No-one was injured in the crash, but police are warning people to take bends with care as road conditions are slippery.
