FOUR people from a Weston residential home are taking part in a gruelling triathlon to raise funds for charity.

Sarah Granger, Sara Pincott and Judit Salamon are members of staff at Birnbeck House, and along with home resident April Bowes they are undertaking the Tri Together event in London for Leonard Cheshire Disability on September 11.

Sarah, a manager at the home, said: “It’s going to be quite a challenge as none of us have ever done anything like this before, but we thought it would be good fun to give it a go.

“We’ll have to cycle 15km, run 5km and swim 400 metres.”

The group have a fundraising target of £880, and donations can be given by phoning the home up or through Sarah’s JustGiving page.
