THE family of a ‘larger than life’ man from Weston have paid tribute to him after he died aged 56.
Christopher Lundy, who became a well-known face in the area after carrying a breeze block from London to Worle in aid of Worle Community Centre was 56 when he died of pancreatic cancer on June 13.
After growing up in Wicks St Lawrence, Christopher lived in and around Weston for most of his live, and was resident DJ at Webbington Country Club in Loxton, as well a Meatloaf tribute singer touring the UK and the world.
His brother Robert said: “He was such a larger-than-life character, whenever I walked down the street with him he’d never be able to go far without anyone noticing him and wanting to talk to him.”
