Trustees needed at Big Worle
PUBLISHED: 19:00 19 August 2016
A project designed to improve the lives of people living and working in Worle is applying for charity status - and wants people to get involve as trustees.
The Big Worle Partnership launched two years ago, and puts into practice ideas shaped by residents’ views and ambitions for the area.
Successes have included environmental improvements, new school links, and creation of the Big Worle Hub, while plans under way include a nature trail and outdoor gym.
A charity application has now been submitted, and trustee applications from people who live, work or volunteer in the area are welcomed.
Nomination forms can be picked up from The Big Worle Hub in Clovelly Road or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org until August 26.
An election of trustees will then be held at the hub on September 5.
