A GYMNASTIC club has raised hundreds of pounds by holding a tumbling competition for all ages.

The Monarchs Acrobatic Gymnastic club, based in Highbridge, held the event to raise funds to go towards leasing its premises. The whole group pulled together for a morning of fun and gymnasts as young as three years old showed off their skills to friends and families.

A raffle, leotard sale and light refreshments also helped towards raising £750, which will also go towards the club possibly purchasing its own permanent building.

Next year the club is due to compete in Portugal and Germany and has become a well known name within the acrobatic sport throughout Europe.
