TWO students from Uphill are working on the first student-made TV programme to be aired on Sky
television.

University of Glamorgan students Alex Brent, of Beach End Road, and Rachel Dunston, of Old Church Road, have been working on chat programme The Moore Show, which aired for the first time last week on Sky Channel 201: Showcase.

Director Alex, a third year major in TV directing, says the show is an ‘alternative chat show’, and has already featured the likes of Sir Patrick Moore and psychic Colin Fry as guests.

The 21-year-old former Weston College student said: “We’ve got an agreement to do 52 episodes, and we are planning a lot of different things for when we start shooting again next week.”

The programme, which airs at 6pm every Friday, is also available on Freesat channel 403.
