Two taken to hospital with stab wounds

Two men were taken to hospital with serious injuries after both were stabbed in Weston-super-Mare last night (Sunday).

Paramedic cars were initially called to the incident, in Sandford Road, at 11.52pm, where staff found the two men suffering from arm and leg injuries.

Police and ambulances then followed when they realised the severity of the situation, and the pair were transferred to Weston General Hospital.

A police spokesman said: “Officers were called by ambulance crews following an incident in which two men had received stab wounds.

“They have since received hospital treatment but nothing else is known about their condition.”
