VISITORS to Wraxall's Gothic Tyntesfield Estate will now be able to savour the house and gardens in their entirety.Following the purchase of Tyntesfield, the National Trust opened the house and gardens to pre-booked tours only while conservation work was carried out.For the final two months of the 2005 season, new temporary visitor facilities allowed the house and garden to open for visitors to explore at their own pace and this will continue throughout 2006.The project to restore and repair the building continues and visitors will be able to see this conservation work during opening hours.Tyntesfield property manager Ruth Gofton said: "We are excited by the new developments at Tyntesfield for visitors."For the first time, for the duration of the whole year, we will be operating a timed ticket system for exploring the house."Visitors will also be able to wander the gardens, make use of our shop and catering kiosk and be able to park at the property in the temporary car park."Tyntefield was saved for the nation by the National Trust in 2002 with funding from the National Heritage Memorial Fund, other heritage partners and a public appeal.
