THERE have been 54 crimes committed in Kewstoke in just over a month - including two incidents of groups of underage drinkers causing a nuisance.

Between July 1 and Monday there were six assaults, which were domestic and/or alcohol related, two burglaries and four caravans were broken into in the village in one night.

Police were called to a group of underage drinkers opposite the Commodore Hotel in Beach Road on two occasions and the second time alcohol was confiscated.

A total of 16 incidents in the month were related to Cygnet Hospital.
