ANTI-cuts union members took their message onto the football pitch in a special match ahead of the local elections.

The Public and Commercial Services union (PCS) organised the match against South Park Rangers on April 28 to raise awareness of their anti-cuts stance, and in association with the Show Racism the Red Card campaign.

Despite a dogged effort from the PCS team, who hit the woodwork several times, Rangers ran out 3-2 winners on the day.
