Linda Chan, aged 60, has created her own colourful and abstract exhibition to show her love for art to the public.

Linda suffers from diabetic retinopathy, which has caused near-blindness in one of her eyes and severely restricted vision in the other.

She has to have laser eye surgery on a regular basis, in order to slow down the deterioration of her sight.

Linda said: “I’ve called my exhibition Seeing The World With New Eyes and studying for my degree has really helped me to do just that.

“Coming from a career in
business, I realised that I didn’t ever just stop and stare as I was always so busy and there was always something going on which needed my attention. As I’m losing my sight, I’m taking the time to appreciate my surroundings.”
