The police are appealing after five cars were damaged

POLICE in Burnham are appealing for help after a vandal mindlessly damaged five cars on Boxing Day evening.

The incident, where the wing-mirrors were kicked off five cars in Worston Lane, was reported to Avon and Somerset Police on the morning of December 27.

Inspector Roger Tolley said: “It’s just completely mindless, somebody’s obviously come back from being out, probably had a few to drink and kicked the wing-mirrors off.

“It must be very frustrating for the owners, it’s at least £150 worth of damage to each car.”

If you have any information, you can contact Burnham police station on 0845 456 7000.
