A newly-installed defibrillator at Highbridge’s Apex Park has been damaged by vandals.

The equipment was in place in case of an emergency such as someone having a heart attack.

It was only installed last month but it has now been smashed and the cover has been damaged.

It has been removed so it can be repaired. Anyone with information about the incident should contact police on 101.
