Hundreds of families raced through seas of coloured bubbles at Weston Hospicecare’s Bubble Rush on Saturday.
More than 600 people took part in the foamy 5km event at Apex Park in Highbridge.
The fundraisers joined in with a number of warm-up exercises before lining up at the starting point.
The competitors then raced through four different stations which fired clouds of coloured bubbles onto the runners.
Competitors followed the course around the park and were splashed with blue, red, green and yellow foam.
Spectators lined the course to cheer the runners on and snap photos of the competitors covered coloured bubbles.
Everyone who took part was presented with a medal from the charity in Uphill.
It is the first time Weston Hospicecare has put on a Bubble Rush and all the money will be used to provide care and support for people suffering from life-limiting illnesses.
