People in Yatton have applied for the village’s Fairtrade status to be reinstated.

The accreditation is given to towns and villages where people promote sales of Fairtrade products and increase the availability of Fairtrade goods.

The Yatton campaign’s organisers say they are hopeful their bid will be successful.
