BANWELL Football Club will host a fire and fun day on Saturday where firefighters will demonstrate how to tackle chip pan fires and cut off car roofs.
The day, held to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the village’s fire station in East Street, will start at noon, and will also feature a pig roast, a majorettes display, bouncy castle, games, stalls and fire engines on display.
Entry to the event, at the club in Riverside, is 50p.
