Village market still thriving

DESPITE the freezing rain on Saturday morning, Bleadon's popular village market was jam-packed with visitors hunting for bargains or tucking in to bacon baps.
The monthly market sells local produce, books, antiques, crafts, pet products and more.
The profits from the market go towards the upkeep and improvements to the Coronation Halls.
