People living in Brent Knoll lucked out with some sunshine on Sunday just in time for a garden party in the village.
A May fair and garden party was held in Ivyclad Hall, in Brent Street, to raise money for St Michael’s Church and The Parish Of Three Saints.
People enjoyed games, browsed stalls selling homemade gifts, art and crafts, and tucked into delicious cakes to celebrate the start of the summer season.
The village’s four-legged friends were also included in the event, as a dog agility display was held to wow visitors.
Jazz music from the swing era by George Gershwin, Benny Goodman, Woody Herman and others was also performed in the village hall.
Children were kept busy by a range of activities and even got to take part in a competition for the best-decorated hat.
