BRENT Knoll residents got their creative juices flowing and tried new ways to remember the past at a special craft day on Saturday.

The event, which was held at the village’s parish hall, saw residents try their hand at scrapbooking, where they artistically put together old photos as part of their own narratives.

Karen Young, who taught the class, said: “People always have lots of old photos lying around, and this way we can put them together to tell a story.

“Everyone was very keen, and they all really enjoyed it.”
