YOUNGSTERS bought a ticket to the past as they checked out just how different public transport was in bygone days.

The event on Sunday was held by bus firm Crosville Motor Services at its depot in Winterstoke Road, Weston.

The firm, which runs bus routes in and around the town using vintage vehicles, allowed members of the public to familiarise themselves with some of the company’s buses.

There were also free rides along Weston’s seafront and mystery tours recreating the services of old.
