GENEROUS Burnham women raised more than £200 for St. Margaret’s Hospice by holding a fundraising tea party.

Barbara Fletcher who organised the Great British Tea Party, which was held in her garden, supplied a cream tea for around 40 people and the event raised £220.

Julie Draper, community fundraiser for St. Margaret’s, said: “This is the 10th year that Barbara has held this event for us and we are extremely grateful to her and all her loyal friends for all the help and support that they have shown over the years.”

If anyone would like to hold a tea party during June, July or August please contact Julie on 01278 434663.
