NOMINATIONS have flooded in for the best restaurants, cafés and take-aways as part of the Weston super Food Awards - and now you can vote for your winners.

The restaurants, cafés and pubs have now been shortlisted and the awards will be handed out during the Mercury-supported Weston super Food Festival which takes place on September 21 and 22.

Starting on Monday, you have the chance to vote for your favourites.

To vote, simply log on to the Mercury website at www.westonmercury.co.uk from Monday to Friday next week and on September 16-20, where a different category will be available to vote on each day.

Festival organiser Sally Packer said: “It’s encouraging to see such a diverse range of food businesses nominated for the Weston super food Awards.

“We’ve got some fantastic restaurants, cafés and food outlets in and around the town, so voting for your favourites is a wonderful way of showing your appreciation and demonstrating that Weston really is a great foodie destination.”
