WESTON'S first-ever recovery walk will take place on Saturday to mark national recovery month.
The Live, Love, Walk event will start at the Italian Gardens and the walk’s two-mile route will continue through the town, to the Tropicana site and back again.
The event, which will raise funds for North Somerset Recovery Network, will also feature face-painting, entertainment, a raffle and local stalls.
Following the walk, there will be talks from Mark Johnson, the author of Wasted, Harry Shaw, author of Confronting Demons and Alistair Sinclair, director of the UK Recovery Foundation.
If you would like to volunteer on the day or have a stall, call 01934 818047.
Registration for the walk will begin at 11am on Saturday.
